‘As Long As I’ve Got You’ is a reggae tribute to a classic soul sample used by RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan for one of their best-known tracks, ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ from their 1993 debut album ‘Enter the 36 Chambers’.
Produced by Matia ‘Ambassa Gobbo’ and mixed by italian dubmaster Paolo Baldini, the track features the vocals of Nichola Richards, London-born soul singer & songwriter who already re-interpreted the previous single ‘After Laughter Comes Tears’.

After the great feedback following the release of the first single this track is the second single - pressed on limited edition vinyl (100x white signed vinyl, 200x black vinyl) from the upcoming album ‘Ride The Samples’, a project which pays tribute to the original samples behind some of the most classic hip-hop tunes of the late 90ies. It will be release later on this year and will feature reggae versions of classic hip-hop sampled soul tunes such as ‘Ready Or Not’ by The Delfonics, ‘One Step Ahead’ by Aretha Franklin, ‘Ain’t No Love In The Heart Of The City’ by Bobby Bland, ‘Hard Times’ by Baby Huey and more. The B side of the track is a powerful dubmix by Paolo Baldini which title pays tribute to the title of the original song. ‘D.R.E.A.M. (Dub Rules Everything Around Me)’ is again our ‘take’ on ‘C.R.E.A.M. (Cash Rules Everything Around Me), the title of the original Wu-Tang Clan song.
